Gaby Vera is an art advisor and curator who specialises in contemporary art. Having lived in Latin America, North America and now based in Europe, she has developed a sharp eye and culture fluidity that combined with an in-depth research methodology allows her to build or expand collections in a personal and meaningful way.

Gaby has integrated her two careers: Mass Communication and Art History with a Master’s Degree in Modern and Contemporary Art and the Market. Furthermore Gaby took a Certification in Art Business and a Masters Degree in Modern and Contemporary Art and the Market at Christie’s Education New York. The above allows her to develop art consulting her own way: with an educational touch, caring about the artists, their work and its history. Gaby believes in making informed decisions, and so she provides clients with extensive insight about the artist’s process and technique while contextualizing their work within art history.

In the course of her almost ten-years career in the arts, she has developed valuable relationships with artists, galleries, institutions, advisors, curators and collectors, building a strong community of specialists that often come together and collaborate.

Throughout the years, Gaby has added outstanding primary market works to her client’s collections by artists such as Lucy Bull, Lauren Quin, Danielle Orchard, Austyn Weiner, Sarah Miska, Sophie Treppendahl, Alejandro Piñeiro Bello, Toyin Ojih Odutola, Amoako Boafo, Karyn Lyons, Anne Buckwalter, Jordy Kerwick, Cristina Ban Ban, Javier Calleja, among many others.
